We collect as little as possible. Our products run on your own computer and never send your financial data to us.
What we collect and why
- Name, email address and billing country - to deliver your purchase, send your receipt and keep the records tax law requires.
- Payment references from Razorpay (never your card number) - to confirm and, if needed, refund your payment.
- Connection details (internet address, country and region, browser type) for purchases, downloads and sign-ins - to show the right prices, enforce download limits, prove delivery if a payment is disputed, and keep the shop secure.
Visitor counts use no cookies and nothing that identifies you. The only cookies we use are the ones the shop needs to work (sign-in and download); no advertising or tracking.
Who processes it
Cloudflare (hosting and security), Razorpay (payments) and Resend (emails), some of them outside India. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising, and share it with authorities only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Order records: as long as tax law requires (up to 8 years). Connection details: up to 18 months, security logs 180 days.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw a consent, by writing to hello@moneyinbytes.com; we keep only what the law requires us to keep. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must make the purchase. Grievance Officer: Padma, hello@moneyinbytes.com. If we do not resolve your complaint, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
